This t-shirt made me laugh out loud. First, I love flamingos and retro campers so putting them together is just perfect. This tee would make a great gift for your favorite camping partner too.

When I think of Scratch & Sniff I get all nostalgic for the 1970's. I absolutely loved my Scratch & Sniff stickers, even the gross ones. My favorites were anything with fruit or ice cream.
So when I saw that they had Scratch & Sniff Valentine's I was completely stoked, I especially love the ones from Peaceable Kingdom
The key to a good Scratch & Sniff is the smell level. Too strong and your friends will run with their noses held. Too weak and they won't be able to smell them at all. You also want the smelly stuff to stay on the card and not rub off too much. There's nothing worse than a cheap Scratch & Sniff!
Make your own Scratch & Sniff!
If you're brave you can try this method to make your own Scratch & Sniff Valentine's with this cool Scratch & Sniff paint. You could even try to add Scratch & Sniff paint to these customizable cards from Zazzle!
Before Art Deco, Art Nouveau was the style trending during the decades that include 1890 through 1910.

Just out of curiosity, and to keep myself from doing something more important, I typed the word "retro" into the search bar at Zazzle.com. Zazzle is the site we're affiliated with that sells all of the awesome and unique invites and gift items that we're always talking about here on Retro Invites. I was pretty surprised when a Mickey Mouse t-shirt popped up.
Of course it was the vintage style (my personal favorite) of Walt's famous mouse that is being sold by the Disney shop. But... I guess I just always thought of that design as something that would be considered "vintage" and not necessarily "retro". And even more surprising was that it wasn't just one Mickey shirt but a whole page of mostly old-fashioned style Mickey shirts and gift items. In order to better serve this blog and anyone who reads it, into the future, I'll be searching for and exploring the subtle differences between retro and vintage design styles and try to describe the differences as best I can. Follow along as we learn together. ~Retro Robin The Mickey tee design shown above is being featured on a white womens shirt but you can customize for sizes and styles to suit everyone and I do mean everyone. They have 174 shirt styles with many to fit infants all the way up to large adults. After visiting the page, scroll down a bit and look to the side to see a link where you can see all of the styles.
