Something Gatsby-esque to Wear

Trust me, dressing the part is half the fun so be sure to instruct your guests to wear something that a flapper or the Great Gatsby himself might wear for a fun night on the town.  You can search through thrift clothing stores or your (great) grandparents closets to find something appropriate, or look for a costume that comes with everything you'll need.

Amazon is a great place to find some fun 1920's style clothing to wear to your Speakeasy party.

Speakeasy Decorations

To broaden the fun, you'll need to find some great Gatsby Art Deco design decorations to make your event room really look like a 1920's Speakeasy.  Again, Amazon can be your best friend in this department because you can find so many great things without leaving your home but be sure to look around your home for anything that might add to the decor and of course, you should be able to find some great things at your local party store and thrift shop.

Prohibition signs, wanted posters and faux bullet holes will look amazing at your party.  Black, White and Gold streamers and balloons will add to the appeal.  Pearls and strings of beads were popular back then too so if you've got any be sure to drape them around the room.
